I love baby showers! It is really fun to create beautiful decorations for the new baby and mom. Martha Stewart makes a beautiful line of decor for baby showers. I think you can find them at Michaels and Joann’s. A great inexpensive decor I use is hanging lanterns. You can get them for dirt cheap and you can fill the room with them instead of balloons. It looks really elegant and classy. Mix and match shapes and coordinating colors for a real pop.

A few years ago I attended a baby shower and we played the baby bottle game with the men drinking from the bottles. Only difference was they were drinking straigt Vodka out of the baby bottles!! I am ashamed to admit my husband won this game. I also am not a fan of the string game. Everyone does lose interest after awile.

Our family tradition includes a monthly hot dog roast. We hit the grocery store and grab hot dogs and all the ingredients for smores. Then we straighten out wire hangers and roast marshmallows and hot dogs over the flame at my father’s house. Also, every Super Bowl Sunday is an extended family reunion hosted at a relative’s house. We have really grown fond of these traditions over the years. Thanks for the great list.
