Let's look at some of the features you will require for training your dog:

A standard sized crate to fit your dog when he/she is an adult. It should ONLY be adequate for the dog to stand up well and turn around (for reasons that will turn out to be apparent later on).

A "Potty area". This will need to remain the same until your puppy is completely trained;.

You need to select an appropriate “Potty Sign”.

You should offer those snacks that your doberman pinschers likes the most.

A cleaner which is non ammonia based for any accident spots. If you can find one that is made specifically for pets, they are the best. You must be able to get one known as "No Go". You can buy this from pet stores or catalogs.

Keep a chart to know daily wants of your doberman puppies.

Time and patience is the most important thing you will need if you got your doberman rescue from a chewawa rescue area besides all the above mentioned points.

Stated below defines about crate :-

A dog crate is a cage made of moulded fiberglass. Its purpose is to offer confinement for reasons of security, safety, housebreaking and protection of household goods. The crate can help you attain a better relationship with your pet by preventing unwanted activities when you aren't available to supervise him.

The most significant point you should keep in mind is to buy a standard sized dog’s crate so that your dog can move freely in it. If you have young puppies then its helpful to use a crate divider because it adds versatility to your pet home and saves your money by permitting you to set the dog crate living size as your puppy grows.

One of the most significant point is keeping a chart to know the every day routine of your dog. You must note down his playtime, his timing of potty, wake up time etc. in order that you don’t face any difficulty. All such timings can be known to you after observing his regular activities for at least a week.

When your doberman pinschers crate door is opened, pick your dog up and take him to the spot of your yard that will be the "potty area". You should always take him to this similar place for potty time. It is also significant to get his preferred snack with you.

Accompany your dog and have him on a lead if possible. You absolutely should not play with him. Your dog must learn from the beginning that this is not playtime or walk time, it is "potty time."

The instant your dobermans begins to relieve himself, utter the word that you have selected for your potty word. It can be "go potty", "hurry", or anything you like. Just choose a word and don't change it! As the puppy is eliminating, repeat your chosen word in a lovely and admiring tone of voice..

When he finishes, offer him a "snack" and admire him profusely! Take the pup back inside for food, playtime, etc. Keep in mind to take him back outside after food or playtime. After twenty minutes, it's back in the crate for both relax and reinforcement. Continue this cycle until the evening.

I personally don't offer food and water after 10:00 p.m. to my doberman pinchers. This seems to help the puppy stay clean all through the night. At bedtime, move the crate to your bedside. Confirm that your dog is in a draft-free area and has plenty of warm bedding.

Your puppy will settle in comfortably if he is near your bed. Generally he desires to go out and micturate immediately after waking up. But don’t forget his potty spot and methods you learnt.
